Zygomatic Implants

The surgery typically takes between 1.5 - 3 hours ( for the upper alone), depending on the complexity of your case. It is more complex to place than standard implants.

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia, so you won't feel any pain during the surgery. Some discomfort is expected during the recovery period, but it can be managed with medication.

Zygomatic implants are designed to be a long-term solution. With proper care and regular dental check-ups, they can last many years—often over a decade.

Most patients may take or week or 2 for their swelling and bruising to fully go away. You may experience some discomfort for up to a week and complete healing will take around 4 months. Your dentist will provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.

Zygomatic implants are considered an 'add on' to the All On 4 Plus® treatment, meaning that there will be an extra cost for each implant. This is because they are more advanced and are more complex to place compared to standard implants.
